    Join SHRM - Medina County and Hannah Nitz MSW LSW, Bridges Out of Poverty Summit County Coordinator as she presents "Improving Your Bottom Line by Understanding Poverty". This session will help you understand barriers some of your entry-level staff may be experiencing, helping you work to increase retention.  Learn more about:

      Presenter Bio: Hannah Nitz is a social worker at OPEN M, a faith based non-profit in Akron, and the Summit County Coordinator for Bridges Out of Poverty. Hannah works daily with individuals moving from poverty into employment and has learned of the barriers that many middle class employers would never consider. In the past two years Hannah has trained approximately 1,000 professionals from businesses, social services, churches, and schools in and around Summit County. She also leads a group of 22 agencies and organizations that are dedicated to reducing poverty in Summit County. Hannah was recently awarded “Emerging Leader of the Year” by the National Association of Social Workers.
