    “10 Conversations You Get Paid to Have”

    Join SHRM - Medina County and Valerie Nash, Deputy Director, Human Resources & Support Services, Stark County Job & Family Services, as she presents “10 Conversations You Get Paid to Have”.  In this session you will learn ways to make a difficult conversation a little easier, as well as understand legal implications. HR and Supervisors need to be able to communicate effectively with their organizations’ staff to ensure compliance with policy, procedures, and instructions, in addition to issuance of disciplinary action.

    This session will provide guidelines and tools to assist HR and managers to address staff communications to improve productivity, morale and company compliance.

    This program will provide you with the answers to:

    • Understanding the manager’s role in handling difficult conversations?
    • What is the importance of handling difficult conversations early?
